When you’re buying an investment property, it’s important to distinguish between features you should never compromise on and those you can.

 

“No property is ever perfect, but in the first group should be those things you can’t change, or they’re difficult to change, like position, location, orientation, the floor plan or the style of property, such as a 1950s house in a period street,” says Jarrod McCabe, director of Wakelin Property Advisory.
